Millie is in a Foster Home!!

Sweet Millie has been placed in a wonderful foster home and is having a great time!  As we mentioned in the last update, Millie was in need of a new foster home because she was going to move to our private boarding facility so the foster she had could take care of another dog that needed special medical attention and time to recuperate.

Now that Millie is in a home environment she can continue to get the one-on-one attention and love that she so deserves.  Her foster mom tells us that she is doing very well.  After a little bout with a urine infection, Millie is now doing great with her housebreaking skills!  Her foster mom also says that Millie is such a people pleaser…she so wants to make her people happy!

Amazingly, Millie's horrible life prior to being rescued has not taken a toll on her personality.  She is wonderful dog and so deserves an equally wonderful forever home! Millie will be at the Furry Kids’ adoption event tomorrow (10/8/11) at the Lee’s Summit Petco.  Even if you’re not interested in adoption, stop by and say hello to Millie.  She would love to see you!!

Can you help Millie? Even $5 will help and every dollar raised will go to support Millie!

Thank you for reading Millie's story…we appreciate your time!

Sincerely,
The Furry Kids’ Refuge team
